Who we are, what we do, and the standards we hold ourselves to.
Calling Out Charlatans exists to document, in one place, the verifiable record of fraud, cover-ups, incompetence, and broken promises by the United States federal government and its officials.
This is not a partisan project. It is not a campaign. It is a filing cabinet — organized, sourced, and open to the public. Every item published here is backed by primary source documentation: government audits, Inspector General reports, court filings, FOIA releases, congressional transcripts, and official records.
The public has a right to know what is done in its name, with its money, by its elected and appointed officials. This site exists to make that record harder to ignore and impossible to bury.
Deliberate misuse of public funds, falsification of records, or criminal deception by government officials or contractors.
Documented suppression of information, destruction of records, or obstruction of oversight by government agencies.
Systemic failures, wasted taxpayer funds, and negligence with documented consequences for the public.
Statements made under oath or on the public record that are directly contradicted by contemporaneous documents or evidence.
Campaign pledges, executive orders, and legislative commitments reversed or abandoned — documented side by side.
No assertion is published without at least one verifiable primary source — government documents, court filings, official transcripts, FOIA releases, or on-record statements. Opinion is not published.
Where possible, original documents are linked directly. Where documents are not publicly available, the request or filing number is cited so readers can verify independently.
Fraud is fraud regardless of party affiliation. Incompetence is incompetence regardless of who is in office. This site documents the record — it does not advocate for any political party, candidate, or ideology.
If a published item contains a factual error, a correction is appended to the original post with a timestamp. Errors are never silently deleted.
